Anyway, Ryan convinced me to take a 1/2 way picture this weekend for the baby book that I'm hoping to put together sometime before the grand arrival. The chest to belly ratio is still a little off, but closing in. My arms and legs have gained nothing so far, and my face has actually thinned out. But everything in between.... oy vey. So worth it though. And, since I'm feeling generous today, I've included the picture below:
And for comparison, here is the only other pregnant picture I have at 4 weeks:
A friend of ours told us that hitting 20 weeks is awesome, because you can start counting down. I have to agree...it feels pretty sweet. Even though I'm still having fairly bad hip pain and sleeping in a recliner, just knowing that we're on the downhill trek to meeting our baby is a huge deal mentally. I've even noticed a little bit more energy (although this could be due to work starting to finally slow down a bit), and my love for brussels sprouts has returned! They are by far my favorite food (cooked in olive oil on the stove with onions and sea salt), and I was so sad that the thought of them made me nauseous. But alas, all is good in my brussels sprout loving world again.
20 more weeks to go baby! Can't wait to meet you (but in June...stay in there until then)!

Aww your little bump is adorable. Thats exactly how I carried too... all in the tummy and the boobs! ha ha. Later on my butt got big too, so I looked like an oompa loompa with skinny legs! ha ha!
You look FAB and very very tiny! :)
You look great!! Yay for the half way point!
SO CUTE! I'm so happy for you guys! And you better start stocking up on the orange and maroon baby gear TODAY! I don't think I can approve of a McNugget in blue and orange:)
