Twenty-Nine

Today is my twenty-ninth birthday.

The last year of my twenties.

And, I'm actually pretty excited about it. I'm pretty sure your 20s are much more chaotic than your teen years. Everyone prepares you for the craziness of being a teenager. No one really prepares you for all of the major life changes that tend to come in your twenties (college, 1st jobs, serious relationships, job changes, moving, marriage, etc.). The past 3 years have been especially hard and challenging for me because I have had to deal with a lot of health issues. I'm ready for my 30s. I feel (and hope and pray) that they will be a much calmer decade. I could definitely use some calm in my life. Bring it.

P.S. I found this bible verse while looking for images of the number 29. I like that it's the 29th chapter, and 11th verse because I turn 29 in 2011. I'm weird like that :)

"For I know the plans I have for you," declares the Lord, "plans to prosper & not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future."
- Jeremiah 29:11

That's my favorite verse too! Although, I'm 2 years past my 29th birthday. :(

Glad you're blogging again! :)
